THE IRISH GLEN OF IMAAL TERRIER
CLUB OF AMERICA*

The Irish Glen of Imaal Terrier Club of America was founded in l995 for the purpose of conserving the original Irish Glen of Imaal Terrier. Recognized by Ireland as representing the breed in the United States in the following year, it maintains close ties with the Owners and Breeders Association there for the purpose of gaining an ever moreaccurate understanding of the breed and in order to receive assistance in the selection of stock to add to the members gene pool. The Club is a member of the International Federation of Friends of the Irish Glen. Members register their stock with the AKC's Foundation Stock Service (FSS).

The Club offers a number of publications to those interested in the Breed. These include the annual Newsletter of the International Federation of Friends of the Irish Glen and the breed book, Irelands Native Terrier by Eithne Cleary. It also publishes The Newsletter and its on-line magazine The Badger. Associate Membership in the Club is open to anyone who accepts the Clubs Code of Ethics with its Constitution and by-laws.
