United States Bordeaux Corporation*

A certified - state registered corporation has finally been formed for the protection of the breed, its registry and for the advancement and betterment of the breed. The group is called the United States Bordeaux Corporation or "USBC".

The USBC is the only breed organization that will have a very strict code of ethics and will work very closely with the registrar to ensure the best possible future of the breed. The state of New Jersey has been selected as the location of the corporation mainly due to this state's consumer orientated laws and that the Trustees feel very strongly that the consumer should have a place to turn when necessary as should the seller and/or the breeder.

In attempting to simplify, the USBC will adapt a policy that will mirror image much of our French counterparts.

The Board of Trustees realize that the corporations goals are well within the reach of availability, and since they are motivated and committed to move forward in a positive direction, the corporation will be seeking only those Fanciers whom will share the same goals and will be willing to aid the corporation in laying down a solid foundation for our breed for now, and most importantly for the future.
