This website is dedicated to the Black Russian Terrier, a rare, beautiful, and very intelligent breed. I got to know them 30 years ago in Russia and I still love them. Now We live in Upstate NY,USA. Our dogs are very active and get a lot of exercise. Their diet consists of only natural food. I have two bitches imported from Moscow,Russia from the famous Rus Moskovia kennel. In my mind the BRT is a dog of both middle and large size as well as powerful with a firm-rough constitution type having rich bones, trim, black coat, beautiful wide movement, stable mind and character.
